 We have all heard the phrase “Promotion of truth, love, unity and peace. Smile upon our…”  Do we ever take the time to ask ourselves what is our motive and the purpose of our actions?  So often we don’t realize just because we have the right to do or say something, it may not be the right thing to say or do. What is the motive when we come to the aid of a brother? Do we aid in his reformation, or do we try to prove something? Remember we are to treat everyone with respect in their presence as well as behind their back.  The world around us wants to “throw under the Bus.” Thy Holy Eye is always looking upon us. Make the Grand Artificer smile upon your work, and then Brotherly Love will PREVAIL.

We’ll begin with a check-in and free breakfast at Harmony Temple, Exit 92 of Garden State Parkway, Rt. 37W in Toms River, NJ. The simultaneous plunge into the Atlantic Ocean is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Big Joe Henry, the NJ 101.5  “Voice of the Plunge” will broadcast live from the Plunge site with updates, fun facts and music to wrap the day in a blanket of excitement. Come in costume and bring your family and friends for a day of fun to support a wonderful cause! Please give your empty toner and ink cartridges to any officer of the Lodge in the 21st Masonic District.  We will receive money from these cartridges to be used by the 21st District Association.

There has been a lot of confusion with the 2012 Dues Notices. The term “In Arrears since 2011” simply means you owe for the 2012 dues only. The amount underlined on the bottom right side of this notice designates the amount you owe for your 2012 dues. I apologize for any confusion. We appreciate your prompt payment of your 2012 Dues.

 With the current uncertainty within the United States Postal Service, I would appreciate your sending me your email address as well as any changes to your email or home addresses. There are times when important information needs to be sent to the members, as well as the friends of the Lodge. Without the email addresses it is impossible to inform the membership on short notice. We appreciate your prompt payment of the 2012 dues. If you are having financial or personal problems that have caused you to be in arrears, please contact me and we will be willing to work with you.  The New Jersey Freemason has the  up-to-date information concerning events in the state. Please keep your Freemason for this info.  There will be times when we will refer to a certain edition and page for complete information about the various events sponsored by the Grand Lodge of New Jersey and the Masonic Charity Foundation.
